The May medal was played in great conditions on Saturday, though the course was very tough and the winners definitely had to work hard to make their scores. In A  Grade it was Simon Trickett(4) with 65nett taking the Medal, and also claiming the scratch prize with 69 off the stick. In B Grade John Bowyer(13) & Neil Dabinett(14) both had 67nett and will playoff on June Medal day to determine the winner. The scratch went to John Bowyer with 80 off the stick. Garry Varley(23) won the C Grade Medal with 66nett, the scratch was won by Craig Perrau with 87 on a countback from Aidan Cuddington.

It was the second round of qualifying for the Wilsons Realty Matchplay Championship, congratulations to those who have made it into the match play section that commences with quarter finals on Saturday 11th May:

A: Brendan James, Shayden Binder, Simon Trickett, Jacob Wesson, Tony Tully, Dean Beer, Troy Fuller & Zac Wilkins

B: Phil Crawford, Paul Eding, Greg Weber, Steve WInstanley, Steve Patterson, Peter Louis, Micky Law & Randall Lorig

C: Jim McGrath, Aidan Cuddington, John Sheath, Robert Fraser, Lionel Dawkings, Garry Varley, Jeff Andrew & Paul Bish

The difficult course meant not much movement in the Eclectics, though a new leader in the gross with Shayden Binder on 61 ahead of Greg Beatty, John Bowron, Ian Cameron, PJ Hyland, Simon Trickett, Zac Wilkins & Jacob Morley all on 62. In the nett Bradley Nicholas has 55pts, followed by Brian Smyth on 54pts and David Cullen, Robert Wilkinson, Tom Shelton & Gary Todhunter all on 53pts.
