We are under a month away from the Club Championships and now is the time to book your place in the field. The first round is Saturday 3 May followed by 10, 17 & 24 May. The final two rounds are also the qualifying rounds for the Matchplay Championships.

Special booking envelopes for the Championships will be at the card scanner in the cart shed from 12 April to 19 April. The $5 per player booking fee is used as part of the prizemoney pool. If you do not pre-book your place, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to find a spot in the field.

The Championships to be contested are:

                                 Daily Handicap                              

–          A Grade               up to 6         (gross & nett)                                  

–          A Reserves          7 – 12           (gross & nett)                           

–          B Grade               13 – 18         (gross & nett)                              

–          C Grade               19 – 36         (gross & nett)

–          Senior                   55 or older on 3 May 2025 (gross)

–          Junior                    under 18yo on 3 May 2025 (gross)

Full information for the Championships can be found on the noticeboard inside the cart shed, here are some of the important points:

–          Only put your name on an envelope if you are playing all four rounds and will play in a seeded group (if qualified)

–          Group bookings may be broken up if necessary to maximise player numbers

–          There is no guarantee that a request for a morning/afternoon time will give you that bracket

–          If you do miss a round, your booking for remaining rounds may be cancelled

–          If booking requests exceed available places, lifestyle members will be the first players balloted out as they are ineligible to win championships

–         In the final two rounds, afternoon players may be shifted to morning times to accommodate seeded players being moved to afternoon times

–          All championship competitors in round 1 will have their starting tee reversed in round 2, this booking will be done by the committee

–          Championship players are not to alter their bookings so that they play off the same tee in both of the first two rounds.

–          Championship players who have not lodged envelopes will need to make their own bookings for rounds 3 & 4, unless they qualify for a seeded position

–          The round 2 timesheet will be locked so that all bookings, cancellations or time changes can only be made by contacting the Pro Shop from Monday 5 May

–          Bookings for rounds 3 & 4 of the championship will open from 7pm on the Sunday prior to each round.

–          In round three the top 16 players overall will be seeded to play from midday.

–          In round four the top eight players in each grade will be seeded to play from 11:00 am

–          Seeded players must play at their allocated time or they will be ruled ineligible to win a championship prize.
