The Shootout was played on Tuesday 23rd September under sunny skies with a brisk wind. Ten players qualified by having the best nett score on a Medal round between March and September.

All was quiet and tense for the first few holes and then as players dropped out at each hole, the gallery became more vocal with applause for great shots and keen putting.

The final hole was played between Jan Duffield and Janet Hamer with Jan Duffield being the winner at the ninth. It was a great day and the qualifiers each received an engraved flute to enjoy some bubbles along the way and in the clubhouse. Congratulations to Jan and all the shootout players.
