The Shootout was held on Tuesday 19^th September, with 10 qualifiers teeing off from the 1^st.  The 10 qualifiers were those who achieved the lowest nett score from the Bendigo Bank Monthly Medals during the competition season.   The Player with highest nett score on the hole drops out so 9 remaining players advance to the 2^nd. This is repeated on subsequent holes until the winner is decided on the 9^th.

The competition was tight, with 2 ‘chip offs’ – one on the 5^th and another on the 8^th. A chip off occurs when 2 or more players have the same highest nett score on a hole.  A ball is dropped (by the Women’s Captain) 20 – 40 meters out and players must chip onto the green.  The player furthest from the pin drops out.

The final two, Robyn Taylor and Donna Mitchell, played the 9th, shot for shot.  It was tense, with an eager gallery gathering to watch and cheer them on.  Both Robyn and Donna were on for 4, with Donna able to sink her putt to clinch the title !!  Congratulations Donna and well played everyone!
